Corporal Cecil Omar Littleton was born on December 4, 1912 to James Henry Littleton (Barber) and Mary Elizabeth Greaves of Brampton, Ontario. He did clerical work in a shoe store prior to enlisting in the Canadian Army on July 20, 1942 at Toronto, Ontario. He served only in Canada according to the Brampton Book of Remembrance.

He married Irene Julia Sloski of Brampton in 1943 while in the service. At the time of his death they were living at 37 Mill Street in Brampton, Ontario.
He is commemorated on Page 535 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance.

He died at Christie Street Hospital in Toronto of Carcinoma. He was buried in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at a grave in the Port row, south end.
